Well we are in luck! Best Painting Inc. has several ways to help us.
1. If my home is empty, Best Painting Inc. will give us an awesome deal! (Great if selling or buying right now).
2. If we put all of our furniture in the middle of room, we get a great price!
3. If we paint the outside and the inside, we get an even better price!
4. Best Painting Inc. has some special prices out there on social media. Check it out!
5. Best Painting Inc. will do everything with no contact.
(They can even repair the hole my son and his friends made horsing around as well as cracks in my stucco)
For safety purposes, we must NOT be inside of our home while inside work is being performed. This protects the painters and our family.
Best Painting Inc. will do all paperwork electronically, if we wish. Best Painting Inc. can even leave our paperwork in an envelope outside if we don't have a computer and they can take Credit Cards over the phone.
Best Painting Inc. has an A+ rating with Better Business Bureau, I checked, here is the link.

Leave it to the Pros!

The most popular DIY project that home owners try to tackle on their own is painting! While some may be able to “get the job done” others quickly find themselves overwhelmed once they realize just how difficult a painting project can be. The following is a few reasons why you should absolutely leave some painting projects to the pros.

Materials, Cost and Quality
Money is a pretty common factor when people are deciding to start a painting project. Even though it seems like you might be able to save by doing it on your own, just simply purchasing the paint and other materials you could spend more than you would have if you had just let someone take the hassle out of your project.  The interior of your home is something that you spend lots of time looking at. There are certain techniques that are used by professionals that guarantee a “look to love”.

No Interruptions
The hassles of your home life can become a real handful at times. Imagine, you are all set to start painting, the dog starts barking, the door bell rings, the baby cries, the phone rings… the list could be a long one. You’re the one in charge of your big painting project but wait, don’t forget about all the other tasks you have to complete before the days end. Trust us, you’ll be glad you call in the professionals to do your next big project. Let us help with relieving some of your day to day stress.

Avoid the Trouble
Its not just the paint that can be a difficulty! The painting process alone can be tedious and time consuming but think of all the other chores involved that you could take up your time. Just a few reasons you should let the pros get your job done are: Moving furniture, draping the floors and your belongings to avoid getting paint on your things, and taping areas off that you don’t want painted. Instead of try to factor in all the time it takes to add prep time to the actual paint job, have our team help you out!

Leave it to us to get all your painting jobs done! Don’t Fuss, call us at Best Painting Inc.

The latest trend in bringing color and design to a room has people rolling up the carpet and using bright paint colors on their wood flooring.
Painting hardwood floors is an innovative way to add punch and dimension to any room in a house. More than just incorporating color and lifting a room's mood, a painted floor can also help solve design problems. For example, vertical stripes extending down a hallway can give the illusion of length and depth. A bold geometric pattern in a small foyer can make it appear larger and add dynamic personality to a space that's often overlooked. A painted border around a rooms' edge can be a way to introduce multiple colors and pull out elements or themes found in the rooms' wall coverings, furniture or rugs. A floor painted in a common color can help unify interconnecting rooms.
There's no limit to the wonderful looks that can be created with today's glazes, paints and finishes on hardwood floors. Stains can look like inlays of exotic woods. Paint can mimic virtually any material, including marble, granite, tile, brass and gold. According to Joe Boone Jr., owner of Wood Floors International in Jacksonville, Fla., having a professional create a complex pattern or faux look often costs less than half what using the real materials would. Plus, painting is an inexpensive trick to turn a not-so-beautiful floor into something truly unique.
The secret to any quality paint job is proper surface preparation. Basic preparation steps usually include washing, scraping or sanding and priming. The floor surface needs to be clean, dry, dust-free and as smooth as possible. You'll need to fill large depressions and cracks in the wood flooring with a product that dries hard. Cover bare wood floors with either a primer or a sealer. A primer will help hide the wood grain that otherwise might show through the finish paint. However, if you want some of the wood grain to show through, use a clear sealer so that the paint from the design doesn't bleed into the wood. Hardwood floors that have a varnish or urethane finish must be sanded before a primer or sealer is applied.
Foot traffic inevitably scuffs, scratches and wears down the paint, giving the floors a soft patina and suggesting a sense of history. Some people even use sandpaper to hurry along the timeworn look. However, if you want to ensure your newly painted floor lasts for many years to come, make sure to apply two coats of polyurethane over the dried paint. In high-traffic areas, apply a third coat six months later, after the initial coats have completely cured.

PREVENTATIVE EXTERIOR PAINTING

12/2/2019

Although temperatures are plummeting, there is still time to protect your home and buildings exteriors from frigid temps, ice, and snow. Without being adequately prepared winter weather can cause damage to your siding, trim, shutters, doors, and windows. Exterior painting offers additional benefits that you may not have considered, it’s not just giving your home a new look or adding to its value. Before the worst of our weather returns, here are a few things to keep in mind when considering the benefits of exterior paint.
  • Keep your warm air in and seal out the cold. A fresh coat of paint can “seal” in your heat and keep your home nice and toasty. You may even save on your energy expenses.
  • Protect your home from wood rot and other damage. A new exterior paint job before winter will shield your home from excess moisture. If you don’t paint your home, winter weather can decrease the lifespan of your exterior surfaces.
  • Keep termites and other pests away. When you paint your home exterior, pests such as termites can be deterred from chowing down on wood. When paint has chipped or cracked, insects can more easily find access points to the wood underneath. Well-coated siding and exterior wood trim keep these pests out all winter long.

Color of the year 2020!

10/28/2019

As we approach a New Year, Best Painting Inc., would like to announce the Color of the Year, or rather Colors of the Year.
Furthermore, we’d like to elaborate on what these Colors mean to us.
Starting with Sherwin Williams Color of the Year, which is ‘Naval SW 6244’, Similar to PPG’s Color of the Year which is ‘Navy Chinese Porcelain’. Both colors represent Navy in different tones.
Sherwin Williams Naval Color is a deep and sophisticated Navy blue as shown here
Picture
Light Tans and greys accentuate the blue in this color. Primarily Naval is used for accent walls, front doors and powder bathrooms. But that is not the only place to use Naval. It’s also gorgeous on cabinets and styled properly can be nice to use on all walls in an office, dining room or bedroom.

Like Naval, PPG’s Navy Chinese Porcelain is a darker, shaded, orchid blue with a violet undertone. When we think of Navy Chinese Porcelain our minds may go to antiques like so
Picture
However, Chinese Porcelain is just as elegant for our home as it is on antiques!
Picture
Here is a great example of how this Navy can class up your home!

Now that we have the two Navy Colors of the year, look into what the other Painting Companies are talking about. For example, we have Behr’s Color of the year ‘Back to Nature-S340-4’. Back to Nature is a revitalizing green hue that engages our nature and outdoors side, this color pairs well with other greens and plant-like shades. This is perfect for a calm yet vibrant home as seen here
Picture
Again with the theme of calming colors, we have Dunn Edwards Color of the Year ‘Minty Fresh (DE5687)’
Minty Fresh is a calm, clean and crisp high point pastel that can coincide with our nature colors and really bring some brightness to your home for a Fresh new beginning.
Picture
Lastly, I’d like to appreciate Benjamin Moore’s Color of the  Year, ‘First Light 2101-10’. This color is a soft, airy pink that flatters any living space. The great thing about First Light is that it is an alternative to white and goes well with other calming colors. Here is a representation of First light below
